# Bebop vs Almanac

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Almanac at none against Bebop's 1. Bebop's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and ratings volume (46 vs 11). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bebop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Almanac asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bebop holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 46 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 95% of Bebop's written reviews are positive against 100% of Almanac's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
