# British Essentials vs City Picker

The clearest difference is ads: City Picker at none against British Essentials's shown. City Picker also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

British Essentials ships an update every 3 months, City Picker fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
