# Facetify vs Shift

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Shift at 100% against Facetify's 11%. Shift also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.4) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). Facetify's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (75 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shift sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Facetify asks for nothing beyond the download.

Shift holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Facetify has 75 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 11% of Facetify's written reviews are positive against 100% of Shift's.

Facetify ships an update every 3 weeks, Shift every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
