# FocusBeats vs NoDi

The clearest difference is ratings volume: NoDi at 14 against FocusBeats's 1. NoDi also leads on iOS requirement (17.2 vs 26.0). FocusBeats's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FocusBeats sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and NoDi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for FocusBeats against 5.0 for NoDi. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NoDi has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

FocusBeats ships an update every 2 weeks, NoDi weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
