# FocusBeats vs Fav Timer

The clearest difference is device support: FocusBeats at 4 against Fav Timer's 1. Fav Timer's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FocusBeats sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Fav Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FocusBeats ships an update every 2 weeks, Fav Timer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
