# Progress vs Woddle Cards Evolution

The clearest difference is rating: Woddle Cards Evolution at 5.0 against Progress's 3.9. Woddle Cards Evolution also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). Progress's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Progress sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Woddle Cards Evolution sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Woddle Cards Evolution holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Progress has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
