# IamWriter vs Continue

The clearest difference is monetization model: IamWriter at free with in-app purchases against Continue's subscription. IamWriter also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and ratings volume (13 vs 4). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IamWriter sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $1.69 per 7 days and Continue sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for IamWriter against 5.0 for Continue. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 4 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
