# Rock Kickers vs Train Survivor

The clearest difference is rating: Train Survivor at 5.0 against Rock Kickers's 2.3. Rock Kickers's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Train Survivor sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Rock Kickers asks for nothing beyond the download.

Train Survivor holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rock Kickers has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Rock Kickers's written reviews are positive against 0% of Train Survivor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rock Kickers ships an update every 2 weeks, Train Survivor every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
