# Audiimax vs Cantilever

The clearest difference is monetization model: Audiimax at free with in-app purchases against Cantilever's subscription. Audiimax also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). Cantilever's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and chart position (#140 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Audiimax sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $16.99 per month and Cantilever sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Audiimax ships an update every 2 weeks, Cantilever every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
