# DIVEROUT vs Diving Assist

DIVEROUT and Diving Assist are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. DIVEROUT sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Diving Assist sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DIVEROUT ships an update weekly, Diving Assist every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
