# Sparch vs Cortex

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cortex at every 4 days against Sparch's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sparch sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Cortex sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sparch ships an update fortnightly, Cortex every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
