# Fullnotes vs Mindz Pro

Fullnotes and Mindz Pro both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Mindz Pro's written reviews are positive against 43% of Fullnotes's. Mindz Pro also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and chart position (#191 vs unranked). Fullnotes's advantage is price (Free vs $2.99) and update cadence (weekly vs every 20 months). On rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Fullnotes is free to download; Mindz Pro costs $2.99 up front. Fullnotes sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Mindz Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fullnotes holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 27 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Fullnotes's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mindz Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fullnotes ships an update weekly, Mindz Pro every 20 months. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
