# TrustShield Adblocker vs VPN Safely

TrustShield Adblocker and VPN Safely both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of TrustShield Adblocker's written reviews are positive against 27% of VPN Safely's. TrustShield Adblocker also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). VPN Safely's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (367 vs 33). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TrustShield Adblocker sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and VPN Safely sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for TrustShield Adblocker against 4.2 for VPN Safely. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Safely has 367 ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of TrustShield Adblocker's written reviews are positive against 27% of VPN Safely's.

TrustShield Adblocker ships an update every 3 weeks, VPN Safely daily. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
