# Boatie Logbook vs NightPilot

The clearest difference is update cadence: Boatie Logbook at every 8 days against NightPilot's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Boatie Logbook sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and NightPilot sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
