# AI Video Generator vs Frames

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AI Video Generator at 100% against Frames's 29%. AI Video Generator also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Frames's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 9 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Video Generator sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Frames sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Video Generator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Frames has 624 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of AI Video Generator's written reviews are positive against 29% of Frames's.

AI Video Generator ships an update every 9 months, Frames every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
