# ReefBay vs ReefRanks

The clearest difference is ratings volume: ReefBay at 455 against ReefRanks's 2. ReefBay also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). ReefRanks's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ReefBay sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ReefRanks sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReefRanks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ReefBay has 455 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ReefBay ships an update weekly, ReefRanks every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
