# Screen Forge vs Timeora

The clearest difference is monetization model: Screen Forge at free with in-app purchases against Timeora's subscription. Timeora's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screen Forge sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Timeora sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timeora holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timeora has 4.5K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 0% of Screen Forge's written reviews are positive against 20% of Timeora's.

Screen Forge ships an update every 4 days, Timeora every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
