# ScriptAI vs Whisper Notes

The clearest difference is rating: Whisper Notes at 4.8 against ScriptAI's 4.2. Whisper Notes also leads on ratings volume (50 vs 5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScriptAI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Whisper Notes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Whisper Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Whisper Notes has 50 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of ScriptAI's written reviews are positive against 82% of Whisper Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ScriptAI ships an update every 2 weeks, Whisper Notes every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 8, 2026.
