# Hydra vs OlenHub

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: OlenHub at none against Hydra's 5. OlenHub also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Hydra's advantage is ratings volume (814 vs 2) and chart position (#201 vs unranked). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hydra sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. OlenHub asks for nothing beyond the download.

OlenHub holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hydra has 814 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hydra ships an update every 3 weeks, OlenHub every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
