# PrepMedico vs Virtuoskill

The clearest difference is update cadence: PrepMedico at every 4 months against Virtuoskill's every 8 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PrepMedico sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Virtuoskill sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PrepMedico ships an update every 4 months, Virtuoskill every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
