# PrepMedico vs RetinaSketchPro

The clearest difference is update cadence: RetinaSketchPro at every 2 weeks against PrepMedico's every 4 months. PrepMedico's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PrepMedico sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and RetinaSketchPro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PrepMedico ships an update every 4 months, RetinaSketchPro every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
