# VRMA vs Held

The clearest difference is update cadence: Held at every 3 weeks against VRMA's every 10 months. Held also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (4 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for VRMA against 5.0 for Held. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 4 respectively.

VRMA ships an update every 10 months, Held every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
