# Metal Detector Pro+ vs SubPure

The clearest difference is rating: SubPure at 5.0 against Metal Detector Pro+'s 4.6. Metal Detector Pro+'s advantage is ratings volume (39 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Metal Detector Pro+ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and SubPure sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SubPure holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Metal Detector Pro+ has 39 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
