# Sweet Paris App vs BAR

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Sweet Paris App at 1.6K against BAR's 1. Sweet Paris App also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). BAR's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Sweet Paris App against 5.0 for BAR. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sweet Paris App has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sweet Paris App ships an update every 2 months, BAR fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
