# IPTV Player vs BET IPTV

The clearest difference is update cadence: IPTV Player at every 5 days against BET IPTV's every 4 months. BET IPTV's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPTV Player sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and BET IPTV sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IPTV Player ships an update every 5 days, BET IPTV every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
