# IPTV Player vs Satellite

The clearest difference is update cadence: Satellite at every 2 days against IPTV Player's every 5 days. IPTV Player's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPTV Player sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Satellite sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IPTV Player ships an update every 5 days, Satellite every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
