# Block Puzzles vs Block Crunch

The clearest difference is rating: Block Puzzles at 4.8 against Block Crunch's 4.0. Block Puzzles also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 71%) and ratings volume (66 vs 11). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Block Puzzles sells 15 one-off in-app purchases and Block Crunch sells 16 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Block Puzzles holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Block Puzzles has 66 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Block Puzzles's written reviews are positive against 71% of Block Crunch's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
