# Brookstone vs Home Security Camera ™

The clearest difference is rating: Home Security Camera ™ at 4.1 against Brookstone's 3.3. Home Security Camera ™ also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (3.6K vs 21). Brookstone's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Home Security Camera ™ sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Brookstone asks for nothing beyond the download.

Home Security Camera ™ holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Home Security Camera ™ has 3.6K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Brookstone's written reviews are positive against 21% of Home Security Camera ™'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brookstone ships an update every 15 months, Home Security Camera ™ monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
