# Pocket Saga vs EffDat

The clearest difference is ads: EffDat at none against Pocket Saga's shown. EffDat also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). Pocket Saga's advantage is chart position (#82 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pocket Saga sells 22 one-off in-app purchases and EffDat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
