# EinsteinPortal vs Spendback

The clearest difference is ads: EinsteinPortal at none against Spendback's shown. EinsteinPortal also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Spendback's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 10 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EinsteinPortal ships an update every 10 months, Spendback weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
