# ideaShell vs Napkin

The clearest difference is rating: ideaShell at 4.7 against Napkin's 1.0. ideaShell also leads on ratings volume (609 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ideaShell sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Napkin sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ideaShell holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ideaShell has 609 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
