# ideaShell vs Angle Finder

The clearest difference is rating: ideaShell at 4.7 against Angle Finder's 3.0. ideaShell also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (586 vs 2). Angle Finder's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ideaShell sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Angle Finder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ideaShell holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ideaShell has 586 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ideaShell ships an update every 10 days, Angle Finder every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
