# ideaShell vs Couple360

The clearest difference is monetization model: ideaShell at free with in-app purchases against Couple360's subscription. ideaShell also leads on review sentiment (76% vs 57%) and device support (4 vs 1). Couple360's advantage is ratings volume (3.4K vs 609). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ideaShell sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Couple360 sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for ideaShell against 4.6 for Couple360. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Couple360 has 3.4K ratings behind it against 609, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of ideaShell's written reviews are positive against 57% of Couple360's.

ideaShell ships an update every 10 days, Couple360 weekly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
