# ideaShell vs WS Colors

The clearest difference is ads: ideaShell at none against WS Colors's shown. ideaShell also leads on review sentiment (76% vs 50%) and device support (4 vs 2). WS Colors's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ideaShell sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and WS Colors sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WS Colors holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 599 and 165 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of ideaShell's written reviews are positive against 50% of WS Colors's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
