# Bracket Maker vs Bracket Pad

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Bracket Maker at 84 against Bracket Pad's 4. Bracket Pad's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bracket Maker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Bracket Pad sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Bracket Maker against 4.8 for Bracket Pad. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bracket Maker has 84 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bracket Maker ships an update monthly, Bracket Pad every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
