# DocDiscover vs PetMind

The clearest difference is update cadence: PetMind at fortnightly against DocDiscover's monthly. PetMind also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DocDiscover sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and PetMind sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DocDiscover ships an update monthly, PetMind fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
