# Morse Link vs Flashlight

The clearest difference is ads: Morse Link at none against Flashlight's shown. Flashlight's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 11 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Morse Link ships an update every 11 months, Flashlight fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
