# Laguna vs Cloud Capsule

The clearest difference is rating: Cloud Capsule at 5.0 against Laguna's 4.1. Cloud Capsule also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 61%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). Laguna's advantage is ratings volume (59 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Laguna sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cloud Capsule sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cloud Capsule holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Laguna has 59 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 61% of Laguna's written reviews are positive against 100% of Cloud Capsule's.

Laguna ships an update weekly, Cloud Capsule every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
