# Map Duel vs Flag Guessing

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flag Guessing at every 4 days against Map Duel's every 9 days. Flag Guessing also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Map Duel sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flag Guessing sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Map Duel ships an update every 9 days, Flag Guessing every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
