# NextChat vs TalkTalk

The clearest difference is update cadence: TalkTalk at every 4 days against NextChat's every 2 weeks. TalkTalk also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NextChat sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and TalkTalk sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NextChat ships an update every 2 weeks, TalkTalk every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
