# Shift It vs Loft Calendar

The clearest difference is ads: Loft Calendar at none against Shift It's shown. Shift It's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shift It sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Loft Calendar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shift It ships an update every 10 days, Loft Calendar every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
