# LambLock vs ScreenBreak

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LambLock at 74% against ScreenBreak's 50%. ScreenBreak's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LambLock sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ScreenBreak sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScreenBreak holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 21 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of LambLock's written reviews are positive against 50% of ScreenBreak's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LambLock ships an update weekly, ScreenBreak every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
