# ReciScan vs PastaPortionPro

The clearest difference is price: ReciScan at Free against PastaPortionPro's $3.99. ReciScan also leads on ads (none vs shown) and device support (3 vs 1). PastaPortionPro's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

ReciScan is free to download; PastaPortionPro costs $3.99 up front. ReciScan sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and PastaPortionPro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReciScan ships an update weekly, PastaPortionPro every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
