# IPTV Smarters Pro vs éist

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: éist at none against IPTV Smarters Pro's 6. éist also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). IPTV Smarters Pro's advantage is ratings volume (558 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPTV Smarters Pro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. éist asks for nothing beyond the download.

éist holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPTV Smarters Pro has 558 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

IPTV Smarters Pro ships an update fortnightly, éist every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
