# Piano Note Reading Trainer vs Read Notes

The clearest difference is ads: Piano Note Reading Trainer at none against Read Notes's shown. Piano Note Reading Trainer also leads on review sentiment (64% vs 50%). Read Notes's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 26.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Piano Note Reading Trainer sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Read Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Read Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Piano Note Reading Trainer's written reviews are positive against 50% of Read Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
