# JTC vs TVTC

The clearest difference is rating: TVTC at 5.0 against JTC's 1.8. TVTC also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17). JTC's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 14 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TVTC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JTC has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

JTC ships an update every 6 weeks, TVTC every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
