# BlockBande vs Xdo

The clearest difference is monetization model: Xdo at free against BlockBande's free with in-app purchases. Xdo also leads on review sentiment (91% vs 75%). BlockBande's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BlockBande sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Xdo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BlockBande ships an update every 2 weeks, Xdo monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
