# FragNote vs Notifyman

The clearest difference is monetization model: FragNote at freemium against Notifyman's subscription. FragNote also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 87%) and device support (3 vs 1). Notifyman's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FragNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year and Notifyman sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notifyman holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notifyman has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of FragNote's written reviews are positive against 87% of Notifyman's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FragNote ships an update weekly, Notifyman every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
