# FragNote vs LaxtTime

The clearest difference is monetization model: FragNote at freemium against LaxtTime's subscription. FragNote also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 77%) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). LaxtTime's advantage is ratings volume (27 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FragNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year and LaxtTime sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FragNote holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LaxtTime has 27 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of FragNote's written reviews are positive against 77% of LaxtTime's.

FragNote ships an update weekly, LaxtTime every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
