# FragNote vs Bloomnote

The clearest difference is ads: FragNote at none against Bloomnote's shown. FragNote also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 83%) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). Bloomnote's advantage is ratings volume (22 vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FragNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year and Bloomnote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FragNote holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bloomnote has 22 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of FragNote's written reviews are positive against 83% of Bloomnote's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
